So you want to get an idea as what does the average person in U.S. think of our ongoing "war on error" and specifically what/where/who should be our next target. You also are tempted to evaluate their level of knowledge about the topic, so you set out to talk to a few random passersby. Strangely enough, Los Angeles beaches seems like a good place to do this as being a very ethnically diverse city and also a Mecca for tourists from all corners of this great land, it is more likely to get a varied sampling of people here than let's say in Montana or Rhode Island or Arkansas.
You go to Venice Beach and start asking your questions. One wants to make a crater out of the whole fuckin' middle east, the next wants to attack Italy and one thinks there's a revolution going on pretty soon in Iran, so let's bomb them. Then you show them a map with names of countries misplaced and ask them to point out their picked target. This is where stuff gets extremely funny and yet so sad. Don't believe me? Watch this.
