Love Quotes

If you like to think that I've gone mushy and cheesy, go for it. It's MY weblog, so it is supposed to be a reflection of things that I go through in MY life, not yours. Yes I think the dip in Bush support is important (well, not really) and yes the Red Sox made all of us who can't stand the big-money big-yawn big-choke Yankees very proud, but I'd rather copy the following quotes instead. There were about a million more I would've liked to include here, but for now enjoy these:

The Eskimo has fifty-two names for snow because it is important to them; there ought to be as many for love.
Margaret Atwood

When you're in love you never really know whether your elation comes from the qualities of the one you love, or if it attributes them to her; whether the light which surrounds her like a halo comes from you, from her, or from the meeting of your sparks.
Natalie Clifford Barney

Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.
Emily Bronte

Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness for God the energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Come live with me, and be my love, And we will some new pleasures prove, Of golden sands, and crystal brooks, With silken lines, and silver hooks.
John Donne

To love abundantly is to live abundantly, and to love forever is to live forever.
Henry Drummond

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
Henry Van Dyke
