CBS & Super Bowl Ad

You've probably heard about this by now; CBS has decided to not accept an ad by MoveOn.org folks during the busiest and most expensive slot available on television: during the Super Bowl. There are all types of ads in the line-up of what will be shown, from the usual beer, fast-food, automotive commercials to Pepsi, upcoming movies and even one from Whitehouse' Office of National Drug Control Policy. But the anti-Bush ad was rejected by the network and you can only watch it on-line for now. Click here to see it and if you believe CBS is wrong in censoring their ads based on political content, follow the links to express your opinion. By the way, I think the ad itself is just brilliant.

The film is great. I wonder how they got the kids to get that burdened, world-weary, work-day-blues body language. Do you know the name of the director? He needs to be watched.

I think the game was great, but the ads and half time show were digusting. The flag desecration was criminal. To think that the performer was paid to disrespect the symbol of our country is beyond comprenhension.

I am no prude, but watching two untalented singers simulate the sex act and jump around like animals is not my idea of entertainment. The tearing off of the costume to display the breast was crude and low class. Then they had the audacity to say it was an accident. Do they think the American public is stupid?

The ads were also low class. Did not these over paid Madison Ave types not know that the game is a family affair?

Maybe next year we will watch the game and turn off the filth.
