Quotes on Israel

I had faith in Israel before it was established, I have in it now. I believe it has a glorious future before it - not just another sovereign nation, but as an embodiment of the great ideals of our civilization.
Harry S. Truman

Our forces saved the remnants of the Jewish people of Europe for a new life and a new hope in the reborn land of Israel. Along with all men of good will, I salute the young state and wish it well.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

Israel was not created in order to disappear - Israel will endure and flourish. It is the child of hope and the home of the brave. It can neither be broken by adversity nor demoralized by success. It carries the shield of democracy and it honors the sword of freedom.
John F. Kennedy

Our society is illuminated by the spiritual insights of the Hebrew prophets. America and Israel have a common love of human freedom, and they have a common faith in a democratic way of life.
Lyndon B. Johnson

My commitment to the security and future of Israel is based upon basic morality as well as enlightened self-interest. Our role in supporting Israel honors our own heritage.
Gerald R. Ford

The survival of Israel is not a political issue, it is a moral imperative. That is my deeply held belief and it is the belief that is shared by the vast majority of the American people... a strong secure Israel is not just in Israel's interest. It's in the interest of the United States and in the interest of the entire free world.
Jimmy Carter

In Israel, free men and women are every day demonstrating the power of courage and faith. Back in 1948 when Israel was founded, pundits claimed the new country could never survive. Today, no one questions that. Israel is a land of stability and democracy in a region of tyranny and unrest.
Ronald Reagan

American and Israel share a special bond. Our relationship is unique among all nations. Like America, Israel is a strong democracy, a symbol of freedom, and an oasis of liberty, a home to the oppressed and persecuted.
William J. Clinton

We will stand up for our friends in the world. And one of the most important friends is the State of Israel. My administration will be steadfast in support Israel against terrorism and violence, and in seeking the peace for which all Israelis pray.
George W. Bush

Can anyone guess what the next US president would have to say in support of Israel? This thing aint over.......

A big part of why a US president becomes "president" is that he has to demonstrate that he is willing and is able to protect Israel's interests.

Notice the power of the Zionist lobby in the US politics and their influence/control on the US media, then you see how determining factor they are.

Only the most base of all human beings would even think about not supporting the free state of Israel - a country given to the Hebrew nation by Almighty God. To go against Israel would be to spit in the face of God Himself and deny His sovereignty. Israel and the Jews have been persecuted since the begining of time and always will be as long as they are the choosen people of the only true God.

Well, I guess that settles that.

I am an American by birth. Consider myself to be a conservative, and some what of a hawk. However, I do not fully support Isreal. I am talking about political Isreal.
1) If I am not pro-Isreal, that does not make me Anti Semetic.
2) I draw comparisons to the Taliban, though modern, you cannot become an Isreali citizen without being Jewish.
3) I write to my comgressman and let him know that I feel the occupation has to end, and that the Palistinians should be given a homeland free of occupiers and settlements.

I just wanted people reading this Blog, I am someone with whom your probably disagree with on everything. BUT! Just because I have many conservative veiws, I do not blindly support what can only be called Aparthied in Isreal.

Why do we bother then, with serving God and his Son? We´re not the true chosen ones! We´ll I´ve made my decision a looong time ago, that I do not serve the judeo-christian God, I don´t believe in it, my faith is elsewhere therefore I couldn´t careless about jews being the chosen ones of whom I believe not. In my book they´re just like me, and deserve no privilege that I deserve not, same goes for the Israeli state. I know many many Brazilian-Jews who utterly disagree with the Israeli policy over the Palestinians, unfortunately these seem to be a minority, and the "majority" that matters live in the country that "makes the difference".
Being against the Israeli policies does not make one anti semitic, but, hey! Israel has been so good at playing the victim;suddenly it lost its ability to hide that sometimes it is the aggressor.
Blame game is old, and long over for the majority of the world.

"To go against Israel would be to spit in the face of God Himself and deny His sovereignty."

Nancy can you be grosser than this. What a disgusting way of elaborating.

How about

"To go against Israel would be to urinate in front of God Himself."

I think fantatics like are and will be morons.
