Meatrix

This short animation may turn you against meat, at least the large scale commercial version found at most stores. It just reminded me of how much I'd want to be a vegetarian, but love the taste of flesh too much. Maybe in my next life...

After you become a vegetarian you will have to deal with beanix or appleix, so on and so forth. For all the people who think on the same line as the producer(s) of thisanimation, the real Matrix is the consumerist culture. We are all part of it. Long story short: together we are greedily consuming our mother earth. Do you know a way out of this matrix?

At the very least, green beef (and other meat) is FAR better than factory farm meat both ethically and quality of the meat wise.

Unfortunately the demand in green beef has led to more flattening of the rain forest in South America, with making room for more "live stock" being the number one reason for destroying the forest. Most of that beef doen't make it to the US though, except PR.

Anyways, the treatment of the animals before slaughter is the main thing, as if you went to a family farm or worse a factory farm and saw them slaughtered you wouldn't eat meat for at least a month. Good way to kick start your vegetarianism ;)
