From My Dating Files II

At another date. This one was a lawyer:

Her - If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you like to go?

Me - Egypt. I've seen many parts of the world but haven't been there yet, I'd love to go.

Her - (a bit annoyed at my answer) What's there to see?

Me - Well, all the antiquities and sites. I'm a big history buff. In fact I'd love to do that whole region and see parts of Israel and across the river into Petra in Jordan.

Her - Of all the places you've been to, which did you enjoy the best?

Me - There are many, but perhaps Cuba. I found it to be a breathtaking island with the nicest people you could possibly imagine.

Her - Why do you only want to see places where terrorists come from???

Me - :(

We were in Egypt for two weeks a couple of years ago and it is truly magnificent. We too have not traveled too shabbily in the past but this one beats most. Just do it dammit, with or without a lady friend.

You shouldn't have even begin the conversation with her. Why should a person like you waste his time with such an idiot?

Find someone who at lease knows the basics. (I know... I know... I can't define "the basics," but at the same time I know that you know what I am talking about... and see who is talking... someone lonelier than you!)

Perhaps now Shakespeare's advice about lawyers makes personal sense to you.

Next thing you know you will want to visit L.A.

Pedram, I think you should turn the table on them and first ask your questions. Then may be you can weed out unfriendlies lot quicker!!!

Besides she was kind a right, why was it that your favorite places were from the other side!! Statiscally you ought to have some favorite places that would appeal to the right!?!?!?!?! After all right or left we are all the same.

This happened at Kaplan:
Him: Hi, what's your name.
Me:...
Him: Wow, pretty name. Persian?
Me: Yes.
Him: Dokhtar Irooni mesle gole!
Me: Excuse me?
Him: Dokhtar Irooni mesle gole!
Me: Oh, Ok!Do you know what you said?
Him: Nah, but my Iranian friends tell me I can score big time with Persian gals if I say this to them.
Me:Oh yeah, definitely! Bye!
