Baba
My father suffered a stroke last night and is currently in emergency care. There are some positive signs pointing to a real possibility of recovery and return to a 'normal' life despite the seriousness of what he is going through.
My thoughts are with him and the rest of my family and although I never get to say this enough, I need to say how much I love him. He has been the backbone of our family forever and I hope he can continue being that for many many more years to come. I Love You Baba!

All I can say is, I am sorry to hear this about your dad, meanwhile, I am glad things are not as bad as they could be.
Let me know if there is anything I can do in Toronto. I hope for a full recovery for your dad.

Thanks for remembering Dad in this way... He has always been our rock, to be sure! Reading your blog and the kind words, was the only time I actually let myself shed a few tears (both of relief and in his honor!)

i wish the best for you and your family. you will have some tough times ahead and it can only bring your family closer to each other and make you an even stronger person that you thought you were. my mother had a stroke several years ago and it has been quite a journey to say the least. i will be thinking about you and your dear baba. khoda sayasho az sare shoma kam nakone. keep us updated.
