Laleh & Ladan

All they wanted was what most of us take for granted everyday, to live "normally" as individuals they both were. Ladan & Laleh Bijani died on the third day of their separation surgery in Singapore. They found their way into the hearts of most Iranians since their birth 29 years ago and will occupy a special corner there forever.

In their own special way, they represented the Iranian determination to be FREE & INDEPENDENT. Such bravery!
