Very Sad

cult.jpg

Two regular visitors have written me complaining about my comment on Massoud Rajavi being "epitome of a cult leader". I normally would not have responded this way, but I think I need to this time.

Just look at the above picture. What other than a cult would drive people to such extremes? Your leader has been arrested by the judiciary of a democratic country that has a pretty good reputation for both protecting refugees, as well as observing basic human rights as it relates to the rights of the accused. Your response is not to gather support for her, lobby powerful allies, collect signatures, hold vigils, and in general keep the spotlight on her situation to guarantee a fair and equitable solution to her predicament. You pour lighter fluid over yourself and light it. If this is not the ultimate act of sensationalism and mind-control to the point that nothing logical makes sense, I don't know what is.

I feel very sorry for them. For them, along with others still in bases in Iraq and elsewhere in the world. They are some of Iran's most loyal and dedicated children, trapped in a cult without any sense of self worth or power to choose a different path. My thoughts are with them and I hope at the end, all is fine for them.

You are right. It is so sad to see that many of the best and the most sincere people of our country have been brain-washed to that extent and they cannot still release themselves from this trap. The sadder point about it is the disadvantage the leaders are taking out of the sitation. It is such a pity.I hope they will make it before it is too late.

Again you've said it all. Sad facts.

to whom it may concern,
obviously ignorance has over come you!....you have to be very narrow minded and shallow to not understand the fact that these people that are not only well educated but exceptional human beings have given their lives for the freedom of iranian people, and that on its own, deserves all the respect in the world!.....you should ask your self why it was okay for the chinese to commit these political acts in china, but now that an iranian opposition group does it, you point fingers and make uneducated comments, and refer to them as a cult. These men and women have sacrifised their lives to free iran from a radical government, that is a picture of a man that was willing to die for his country and for the freedom of iran. Before you go writing things based on your opinion, think about how disrespectful your being towards people that have devoted their lives to their country. That is a fellow persian, someone from our country, you should be ashamed to make such accusations. Even if you do not agree with the groups ideaology, atleast have respect for someone who was willing to sacrifise their life.

Did somebody say it was okay to torch yourself in China? You can be well educated and exceptional and yet be trapped in a cult. In fact, that is not unusual at all.

"Before you go writing things based on your opinion" ??? don't we all write or say things based on our opinion? Oh, I guess not those of us in a cult. They transfer their rational thinking abilities to others to think, wrire and speak for them.

The only people that need to be ashamed of anything are those who brainwash others into thinking an act like this would actually be considered "sacrifised their lives to free iran from a radical government". That is unless you want to be freed from one radical government only to replace it with another.

I am sorry, but I can not stop myself sending these links. Just to show how this organization is using women in all aspects of its actions. First of all French police have arrested two men who purchased gasoline for two women who were killed in self-immolation in Paris. Why did not they use it on themselves? because it is mor sensational to see women on fire. And next look at these pictures, all of a sudden they are advised to show a better image of the MEK organization than just covered moslem look. If this is not exploitation of women, what is? Is George Bush's publicist advises MEK?
