Gun Culture

I have always found the gun obsession in this country very amusing. Yet one in a while I find an example that is just outright hilarious. This is one of those. I just can't figure out what kind of "Retail Security" would need a "Small Arm" like the MG 42.

Hey, Pedram, maybee the PX down at your nearest army base?

With the invading hordes closing in and the future of "retail security" in such grave danger, I think every Walmart should have a manned MG42 on their rooftop.

I don't know about their stores in Canada, but in the U.S. the Wal Mart sporting good sections have a very good selection of rifles and shotguns to choose from. All displayed in glass cases.

I doubt they'd carry MG42's though. And for your information, the Canadian Wal-Marts don't sell guns. At least not in Toronto, where I spent most of my life at.

*smirk* Neat pic. (For the slightly confused: That picture is a fake. It's a parody. )

B'sides, everyone knows an MG-42 is just too unwieldly. Now, an M14, *THAT* would be sweet...
(What?? Why are you looking at me like that?? :> )

I'm not so sure about it being a parody. I did a bit of snooping around and apparently the magazine does, or let me say DID exist. Here's the cover of their second issue:
